      <image:title>Music - October 1 . ELLA HOOPER</image:title>
<image:caption>With lashings of twang and bold Americana sounds; Ella Hooper's Overnight Success era is here! Sharing tunes from her new album recorded in and with the who's who of Nashville; Ella is hitting the road with her kick-arse live band to celebrate. One of Australia's most chameleonic live performers known for her unbridled energy and off-beat charisma, Ella shows what she's really made of with a return to the classic sounds of the music that raised her. Heartfelt, lyric-driven, rambunctious one minute, capsizing you into your feels the next; an Ella Hooper live show feels like a mix of stand-up comedy meets rock and roll - both immediate and intimate. A powerhouse singer, Ella's musical range is vast and mighty. Recalling the likes of Bonnie Raitt and Linda Ronstadt spliced with a modern cheeky twist; Ella keeps things fresh even when referencing the classics. Backed by a stellar live band featuring fiddle, searing electric guitar and tight three-piece vocal harmonies; this is a chameleonic country rock show from Violet Town's poet punk princess. "I've been DYING. to tour this album! It's was literally made to be played live and that was abig part of the aesthetic I was looking for in Nashville, I wanted it to feel easy, free and like a ringing a bell.. some songs have that real solo spotlight, torch song intimacy to them, like the title track itself is a real solo belter, very red velvet curtain, very drama! And others I just let loose on.. that's my aim for every one that comes along. To have a choose your own adventure, a tasting plate if you will, of my approach to the genre I love and am playing in now - Americana, which takes in roots, rock, folk and zydeco even! In short; it's jumpin'!" Ella will be joined by up and coming Melbourne based artist; Ruby Mae on all shows. A proud and powerful young Wiradjuri woman, Ruby has been tearing up the airwaves on Triple J and Triple M as well as gracing festival stages across the country. Gaining traction and fans everywhere she goes for her authentic, music-first approach, the wit and warmth of songs like 'Dickhead' and 'Keeper' are a perfect match for Ella's confessional, wry new material.</image:caption>

<image:title>Music - NOVEMBER 15. JORDIE LANE (MELB/US) Nashville-based, Melbourne born folk-country rocker Jordie Lane, is a seasoned road warrior, touring Australia, North Americana and Europe and sharing the stage with legendary acts like Billy Bragg, Gotye, Old Crow Medicine Show, The Moody Blues, Neko Case among others, and has found his place as one of Australia’s modern day storytelling greats! After a series of sold out shows in 2025, and additions to many best-of-lists and mainstage appearances at Australia’s Woodford and Port Fairy Folk festivals, Lane re-emerges in 2026 with his5th studio album ‘Habitual’, out October 2 on Blood Thinner Records. The follow-up to his 2024 ARIA Country Chart No.1 album Tropical Depression, signalling a clear shift in approach—more immediate, more physical, and driven by the energy of live performance. Lane enlisted producer LOLLIES and bunkered down in Nashville’s ‘The Bomb Shelter’ to record live to analog tape with a full band. The sessions focused on capturing real shared moments as they happened, rather than constructing songs piece by piece. The result is a raw, unfiltered country-rock sound—with tape hiss, crunch, and grit—paired with the spontaneity and momentum that underpin Lane’s live shows and creative essence. Lane's shows are always spontaneous with alot of crowd interaction, banter verging on absurdity, and it's not uncommon for a song to be made up on the spot. The perfect combo for a late sunday afternoon at The Eltham.</image:title>

      <image:title>Music - NOVEMBER 19. BANGALOW OFF-SITE w/ FLYTE (UK)</image:title>
<image:caption>Flyte (UK) is the project of English songwriters Will Taylor and Nick Hill. The pair met at secondary school, eventually settling in Hackney, London. Taylor’s parents were both English teachers and inevitably, various literary influences trickled into the duo’s music- the band taking it’s name from Sebastian Flyte of Evelyn Waugh’s Brideshead Revisited. To make their fourth album, Between You and Me, Flyte—Will Taylor and Nick Hill—set out to return to something raw and instinctual. Just weeks before joining legendary producer Ethan Johns (Paul McCartney, Laura Marling, Ray LaMontagne) in his rural studio, the duo began writing at a small window table in Taylor’s North East London flat. They wanted to see what would happen if they didn’t overthink their songs, if they simply sang about their lives in the moment—candid reflections on love, fallibility, and staying vulnerable. They didn’t fuss over demos or arrangements; they just wanted to capture the feelings. They knew Johns thrived on intuition, so they let that sensibility guide them from the beginning. The result, Between You And Me, is the most affecting and singular album in Flyte’s discography, a stirring and recognizable map of what it means to come of age as musicians, friends, and people. It suggests just how much one can grow, sprouting even from the darker corners of our existence. Presented by Jet Black Cat Music. Food and drinks for this show will be provided by The Eltham.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Music - NOVEMBER 25 . YIN YIN (NETHERLANDS)</image:title>
<image:caption>Dutch groove explorers YĪN YĪN have announced their first ever Australian shows, bringing their highly anticipated fourth album, Yatta! to Mullumbimby. Fresh off a global run that’s taken them through festivals like Fuji Rock Festival and North Sea Jazz Festival, the Maastricht quartet continue to build on a sound that pulls from disco, funk, psychedelia and Southeast Asian influences, all grounded by an irresistible, steady groove. Yatta! is described as their most cohesive work yet. The album leans into Italo disco textures, warped guitar lines and club-ready rhythms, while still offering moments for deeper, more introspective listening. It is a record crafted equally for dancing and for getting lost in the music. Over the past few years, YĪN YĪN earned a reputation as an essential live act, consistently playing to packed venues across Europe, Asia, and the US. This upcoming Australian tour marks their exciting return, featuring both their celebrated new material and a deeper dive into their expansive catalogue. Don’t miss your chance to catch YĪN YĪN on their first Australian tour. Presented by Jet Black Cat Music. Bar and food by us!</image:caption>
